    Video Cards and Development

An Intel Dual Core E6600 Processor has about 8GFLOPS of processing power at it's disposal. That's a ton more than the 2GFLOPS of the Cray 'super-computers' of the late '80s and early '90s. But it's nothing compared to an Nvidia 8800 GTS Video Card which has over 300GFLOPS of processing power under the hood.

Nvidia has already made that power available as part of an SDK. What are your thoughts on how that will impact development in general?
