Sanbolic announces support for MS System Center VM Manager 2007

 Sanbolic has worked with Microsoft to enable virtual machine images stored on Sanbolic's shared Melio FS volume to be managed through Microsoft's Virtual Machine Manager console.

Scott's read on this is that VMWare provides a cluster file system out of the box.  Microsoft (currently) relies on partners like Sanbolic to provide this, and Sanbolic just started integrating better with Microsoft’s Virtual Machine Manager.
